Dorothy you are most definitely not in Kansas anymore!

On Friday 27 October, the upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz dropped in to Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall to celebrate the musical beginning next week at the
Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

The iconic characters from the classic 1939 MGM film, Dorothy (Samantha Dodemaide), the Lion (John Xintavelonis), the Scarecrow (Eli Cooper), the Tinman (Alex Rathgeber) and over 25 of their Emerald City and Munchkinland friends were welcomed by the city as they sung and danced up the Mall towards the Yellow Brick Road for the initial costume reveal of the beloved movie turn to stage.

In addition to the core four, Anthony Warlow will play the Wizard/Professor Marvel, Lucy Durack will play Glinda the Good Witch and Jemma Rix will be the Wicked Witch of the West respectively.
