The cult classic is back! Craig McLachlan does the Time Warp again and reprises his role as the strange and wonderful Dr. Frank N Furter!
Producers Howard Panter, John Frost and Torben Brookman announce that the world’s favourite rock and roll musical would return to Australia in a fresh new production next year, with Helpmann Award winner, Craig McLachlan leading the cast in the legendary fishnets.
Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show will re-open the refurbished Festival Theatre at the Adelaide Festival Centre from 28 December 2017, then play at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), Brisbane from 18 January 2018, and the Crown Theatre, Perth from 17 February 2018.
The Morning Bulletin said, “Craig McLachlan is absolutely fabulous. He’s cheeky and owns the stage whenever he’s on it. His voice is powerful and he oozes sex and charm”, while the Herald Sun said, “McLachlan is audacious and ostentatiously camp.”
